No baking required for this easy peasy cake-like. A bunch of ingredients melted, crunched then chilled until set.

Step by Step method

  • In a saucepan with low fire melt the butter, adding the sugar the golden syrup, and the cocoa powder, while mixing.

  • Take away from fire. Crush the digestive biscuits very finely and put them in the pan. Add the pepper.

  • Add the crushed walnuts. Keep mixing.

  • Pour the mixing into a square tray with greaseproof paper. Press it down.

  • Melt the dark chocolate in a pan and once ready pour over the mix in the tray. Leave for it a few minutes to set.

  • Then melt the milk chocolate and pour the second layer on the mixture. Sprinkle with glitter strands.

  • Leave it to set in the fridge for at least an hour.

  • Cut in nice square pieces and serve with paper cake.

Tips & variations

  • When using greaseproof paper I always wet it to make it more adaptable on the tray.
