Roman-style saltimbocca.Rolled piece of veal garnished with ham and sage and cooked in a frying pan
Cut each sliced veal in two and lay on each piece half slice of ham and one sage leaf.
Stop each piece with a toothpick.
Heat a frying pan over a medium heat with some olive oil.
Place saltimbocca in the pan and cook for about 10/15 minutes adding the white wine, a pinch of salt and some pepper.
They are delicious served with potatoes purée
