A super easy recipe for a super pudding! I normally use Sagrantino passito, nothing more. But any robust red wine would work.
Put the wine and the sugar in a pan over medium heat. Stir until sugar dissolves.
Add the pears and keep them boiling for at least 30 minutes lowering the heat. Turn occasionally. Syrup has to ticket slightly.
Once done, transfer the pears in a plate with the wine sauce.
I believe in less ingredients as possible. But there are lots of spices you can use in it. Cinnamon, vanilla, ginger...cream you name it!
