Step by Step method

  • Toast the bread slices for a couple of minutes and arrange them on a plate.

  • Rub the slices with some garlic and put the tomatoes previously cut, on each slice adding the oil, salt and pepper.

  • Fresh basil is the final touch.

Tips & variations

  • You can blanch and peel the tomatoes if you prefer. Feel free to use any tomatoes, but I suggest the plum ones richer and tasty. And just remember, if you want to buy them in season, make your bruschetta in the summer!
