Gluten free and vegetarian hamburgers a nice alternative to the meaty ones!
If you are using the dried beans, you need to soak them them the night before, then cook in water for about 30 minutes. As an alternative use the tinned ones, rady to use. Blend them till obtaining a cream adding a bit of water.
Cut very finely the onion, the carrot and the garlic, then in a pan with some olive oil brown them. Taking out all the cooking oil, add the beans to the vegetables.
Add the egg, the breadcrumbs and the sun-dried tomato pesto, keep mixing.
Then form the hamburger with the mixture. Cook in the oven, if you prefer at 180 degrees for about 25 minutes, otherwise fry them in hot oil for about 4/5 minutes on each side.
If you are using the dried beans add during the cooking time add a pinch of sodium bicarbonate to break the protein and make them more soft.
