Beloved Italian bruschetta, simple delicious ingredients for a luscious dish.
Toast the bread slices for a couple of minutes and arrange them on a plate.
Rub the slices with some garlic and put the tomatoes previously cut, on each slice adding the oil, salt and pepper.
Fresh basil is the final touch.
You can blanch and peel the tomatoes if you prefer. Feel free to use any tomatoes, but I suggest the plum ones richer and tasty. And just remember, if you want to buy them in season, make your bruschetta in the summer!
